VISAKHAPATNAM: Dr Ramanaidu Film Studio built in 33 acres space off the Visakha-Bhimili beach road, by the popular producer Dr Ramanaidu is inaugurated on Sunday 17.8.08 by Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy the Honorable Chief Minister of AP. Speaking on the event the CM announced that Vizag will be turned as a major film-making centre hot tourist destination and efforts are on the way to expand the city with more urban and infrastructure. He also told that a Convention Centre and a Hotel will be constructed by the government in collaboration with a private organization and in association with the tourism department. He appreciated the effort of Dr Ramanaidu to build a film studio near sea shore in the pleasant city of Vizag. He expressed hope that the studio will help in making good films in the locales and also creates job opportunities. more
